Frequently asked questions
Is blurring safe?
For faces and license plates, yes, if it’s strong enough. Redact text and numbers instead – blurred text can sometimes be partly read.
Blur or pixelate?
Both hide details. Pixelation is obvious at first glance, blur looks more natural.
How do I blur faces automatically?
Use Anonymize: it finds the faces in the image by itself and blurs them with one tap.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Images are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in our privacy policy.
