Frequently asked questions
How are the document edges found?
The editor looks for four strong paper edges and the contrast against the table. If it cannot find them, simply drag the corners by hand.
Does the document keep the right proportions?
Yes, the result gets its aspect ratio from the side lengths of the quadrilateral, so an A4 page stays portrait and is not distorted.
Is this good for scanning to PDF?
For several pages and PDF output, use scanning in our PDF editor – it can capture documents with the camera and recognize text.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Images are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in our privacy policy.
