Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I open my HEIC photo?
HEIC is the format iPhones shoot in. Windows and many programs and offices can’t open it, while JPG opens everywhere.
Will the photo keep its quality?
At quality 85 the difference is practically invisible. The photo’s dimensions stay the same.
How do I make my iPhone save photos as JPG?
In Settings → Camera → Formats, choose Most Compatible. Photos will then take up a little more space.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Images are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in our privacy policy.
