Frequently asked questions

How large an image can be upscaled?

2× for images up to 2.5 megapixels, 4× up to 1 megapixel – anything larger would take your device too long.

How is it better than resizing?

A regular enlargement just stretches pixels; the model redraws edges and textures. Soften the result with the Sharpening strength slider.

Is it free and without uploading?

Yes, the model (about 3 MB) runs in your browser.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Images are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in our privacy policy.
