Frequently asked questions

Which formats are supported?

2 × 2 in (USA), 35 × 45 mm for EU passports and Schengen visas, the United Kingdom, 50 × 70 mm (Canada), 33 × 48 mm (Chinese visa), 26 × 32 mm (Spain) and 3 × 4 cm (Brazil).

How do I print it?

Download the 4 × 6 in sheet and have it printed at a photo lab as a regular photo without cropping. Then cut the photos out along the lines.

Will it meet every requirement?

We check the head height, straight posture and resolution. Requirements differ by country and office, though – check them before printing.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Background removal and face detection run right in your browser – the photo never leaves your device.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Images are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in our privacy policy.
